The Good News:
I passed my written exams for promotion, and rumor has it that I did well on my oral interviews. So, my name will appear on the promotions list that will be submitted to the promotions subcommittee of the Republic Senate, and, if I make the cut, will be moved upward through the process. Someone I met during this rigamaroll mentioned I should get a publicist to get my name visible. It would increase my chances for being chosen.

Anyway, I came across this item while futzing around the office the other day.
