Pa dump dump. (rim shot)
Sorry about not posting for a while. I have been doing interviews over the holonet for my admiralty test requirements. So far, rumor has it, I am doing well.
What is especially frustrating for me is the fact that I had turned down the advancement many years ago, not wanting to become a part of a burgeoning bureaucracy, and preferring to stay in the cockpit, I turned down the promotion. Not that I am sorry for all the excitement I have had, but now there is a significant difference in getting promoted.
So, as I said before, I have been polishing my brass and memorizing regulations for the last couple of weeks.
On top of that, my civilian aide has been dorking around with his own blogs, including some story about a government on a fictional planet. Sounds like a waste of time, if you ask me, but I have been so busy myself, I can't keep track of him right now.
By the way, when we finally caught up with the rest of the fleet, and our own timeline. There was a big bump, a flash of light and zippity doo dah, there we were.
What is interesting is that while we were back in time we had three births (yes it is a big ship), two deaths, and over two hundred birthdays. Now, the births and deaths were recorded on the same 'day' that we returned to normal time. As for the birthdays, some people think that they should be counted twice, while other don't want to count either one.
It's always something.

I guess that I'll be 29 forever. I know that I'm a year younger than my wife and she keeps saying that she;s 30...
I know someone who does that. LOL! 29 and counting...
Time travel is always a little confusing, that is why I use the Timex Time Travel 2000 (tm) watch (only 299.99 credits in 17 simple payments).
Set it in your original time/space continuum and if you are ever thrown forwards or backwards in time, It kills you.
Trust me I never get in time travel situation anymore with that hanging over my head.
Cows are evil. Keep that in mind.
