Hey kids.
Sorry for not posting in a while. I have been studying for my Admiral's exam. I know that I have avoided a promotion for some time (cuz me luvz to fly), but now that I am looking retirement down the throat I want to get my pay grade up a notch so that I will have a little more of a cushion for my 'high-livin' life style.
The exam is this weekend, and I have been diligently reading and taking notes to be sure I pass this puppy. So, I will be back soon with more memoirs.

Been following your Memoirs for quite some time and I've never posted a comment 'till now. The reading has been very enjoyable.
Forgive me for going off "cannon" now, but there's another universe that I enjoy as much as yours. There is an admiral there... let's just say his initials are J.T.K.... He once said to one of his colleagues, "Don't let them promote you, don't let them do anything to you to get you out of that Captain's chair because, while you're there, you can make a difference."
You've made the biggest difference in that faraway galaxy from mine since you've piloted that X-Wing of yours. You're an awesome pilot, a great man, and I wish you godspeed in any endeavors you take on. I just hope you can still fight the good fight in the pilot's seat on occasion!
